Our Issues for 2023
-
Colorado’s ongoing air quality issues are caused by fossil fuel use, wildfires, and rising temperatures. In 2022, we pushed for strong legislative action to address Colorado’s air quality issues. We are particularly concerned because poor air quality disproportionately harms children and communities of color.
-
We are not moving nearly fast enough to address the climate crisis. We advocate for bold climate action to achieve rapid decarbonization. We seek a just transition to a clean energy economy.
-
The American West is experiencing record drought. We advocate for policies that will help us adapt to this new reality, including strong municipal conservation efforts and increased focus on improving watershed health.
